Jo is absolutely fantastic with my 3 little ones! I have never felt confident to leave them as Minnie can be quite unpredictable and Jo having had the breed herself was completely understanding and confident with her and her sassy nature… Read more
Sarah Skuse5 stars isn’t enough – Jo is just brilliant, I almost don’t want to let anyone else in on the secret! We met her at a bichon meet up where she had taken a dog she had boarding out for the day, spoiling him with biscuits and puppacinos. Hannah J.Jackson tiny tails was exactly what we were looking for. Specialising in smaller dogs suited our requirements as our dog is a little bit nervous of bigger dogs. Jo was fantastic from start to finish keeping us updated. It’s so obvious that she loves the dogs and has only their best interest in mind. Won’t hesitate to use Jo again.

Jackson came up with a place at very short notice . So helpful. In the end I didn’t have to use them but so helpful will keep in mind for future. Thanks again.
MaryAs someone who has to board their dog perhaps more than any other human on the planet, it is imperative that the place is just right. Jackson Tiny Tails is more than that. It is more than a home from home for my dachshund Nina, Infact I think she is more excited to be there than at home and Jo is so lovely that often times so am I… Read more
NatashaI highly recommend Joanna at Jackson Tiny Tails for doggy day care. Joanna is so caring, attentive and loving and does everything possible to ensure dog/s have a wonderful time during their stay at her home. She adores doggies and provides a safe, fun and loving home away from home environment for all her guests.

We met her at a bichon meet up where she had taken a dog she had boarding out for the day, spoiling him with biscuits and puppacinos. Straight away I knew she genuinely cared and has such a love for dogs. After visiting her home, Jo initially had our dog for a day visit, then an overnight, a weekend and then a full week – every time he has been we’ve been so reassured with lovely photos and updates, and we can tell he’s having such a great time. I’m so glad we’ve found Jo (and so is our dog as he now has a new aunty!

She absolutely loves dogs and is a natural with them and it really shows. The photos and videos she sent daily showed that Benji was having a whale of a time out on his walks and playing with his friends at Jo’s home. We thoroughly recommend Jo and would use her again

Jo is fantastic with them and tailored there stay to be as near to there normal routine as possible and they loved it , from regular pics of there stay we could tell they were having a great time , she is very knowledgeable about dogs and there needs and has given us very helpful advise about a few possible improvements to there diet.If you are looking to leave your pet and have a worry free holiday knowing they are in the best possible hands look no further.ElevatorI was desperately trying to find someone to look after Dottie (poodle 12 years) while a went to a funeral in Weymouth on a very hot day. It is clear that Jo is very experienced when it comes to looking after dogs reading their behaviours and what they need as well as providing an abundance of love. Most importantly I trust her completely and don’t have to worry for a second whilst I’m away.

FAQs
Yes, I’m fully licensed by the Bristol City Council (Licence Number AWLA/121320) for up to 5 dogs, but I choose to care for no more than 3 or 4 at a time. This way, I can give each dog the calm, individual attention they deserve, without things ever feeling busy or overwhelming.
I care for toy or small breed dogs up to 10kg as often small dogs prefer to enjoy the company of other small dogs.
I’ve been caring for dogs for many years, and since starting Jackson Tiny Tails, I’ve created a calm, loving home where every dog is treated like family. I only welcome a small number of little dogs at a time, so I can get to know each one and give them the attention, comfort, and gentle care they deserve.
Yes, please. Keeping your dog on their usual diet is important for their comfort and health. It helps avoid upset tummies during their stay. You can also bring their treats, favourite bowl, or anything else that makes them feel settled.
At the moment, I don’t offer transport, I’ve found it’s best for owners to drop off and collect their dogs themselves.
Absolutely. Whether you’re away for a weekend or a few weeks, your dog will be part of my home for the whole stay. For longer bookings, it’s especially important to do a couple of trial visits first, so they feel relaxed and happy from the start.
To meet licensing requirements, any dog staying for longer than three nights must complete an overnight trial first. Some owners also like to arrange shorter trial visits, such as a couple of hours or a half-day, to help their dog get used to me and my home, but this is completely optional.
Dogs sleep where they feel most comfortable, just as they do at home. Many choose to curl up on my bed, and I’m very happy for them to do so. Others prefer their own bed or a cosy spot elsewhere. The important thing is that they settle down to sleep feeling safe and secure.
